Funabashi Children’s Festival…

On the 19th of June, we went to a childrens festival.

My friend lives in Funabashi and his mum played the French horn (It is like a round saxophone but bigger than a trumpet) at the festival. At the festival, we made a key chain using magic plate. You draw a picture on the plate and put in the oven for 5 seconds. When you do that, it shrinks ! it was very cool. After that we went to an indoor playcentre. I like the game called “TAIKO NO TATUJIN” (I am playing it in the photo below). It was a great day and i had lots of fun.

School in Japan…

Hi Everybody,

I am having lots of fun at Japanese school!!!   I am going to a primary school near my grand parents’ house for 2 weeks.
I am in Grade 2, Class #1. I was given a book which had everyone’s photo, their name, what they like and a message to me.
On the front page, It said “YOUKOSO 2-1″ which means welcome to grade2 class1. I have made a lot of friends, and I hope I can stay in touch with them when I return to Australia…
